The drawbacks of changing rooms and my multifunctional suitcases

After breakfast I sighted a neat picture of the sunrise from the hostel.

Meanwhile I had to change rooms since 6 nights exhaust the reservation time. The solution was simple. Back in December I reserved twice for 6 nights and once for 1 night. I had to carry down both my suitcases to the underground floor to store them there for the day. The stairs are pretty narrow so that two people can barely pass by each other…well, actually they can’t, one has to go back to let the other person pass first. In addition to that I slept on the 4th floor (groundfloor + 4). Soooo I had quite some struggle to get them down...and up afterwards.

I haven't written about my roomies for a while now. I shared the room with a French person but we were barely talking to each other since mostly we were at home at different times. After changing the room I had a French psychologist as a roommate whom I chatted with pretty much. Then came a Brazilian guy as a third roommate. Then came a French student instead of the psychologist and then another Brazilian student instead of the French student.

I had two courses. But before them I made some administrative Erasmus stuff and afterwards I went to CROUS, again. Slowly I get the feeling that this blog turns into something like a gastro blog about what I eat every single day. Maybe I should stop doing that or at least I should not do it every day… Since I don’t want to bore anyone with my meals I eat every day I’ll only post special and unordinary meals from now on.

Today I had my first French C1 course. It was very intense. We haven’t done any written exercises but we’ve been talking all the time. First we had to find people among us having special characteristics like:

• ·         Has already been to Strasbourg

• ·         Is vegetarian

• ·         Speaks 3 languages apart from his/her native language and French (there actually was someone fulfilling this criterion)

• ·         Likes to get up at 6 a.m.

• ·         Hates soccer (me, more or less)

• ·         Doesn’t like the sea

• ·         Hasn’t signed up to a wide spread social medium with a white letter and a blue background as the logo

• ·         Doesn’t like chocolate

• ·         Never watches TV (I never turn on a TV myself and not because I’m not capable of doing it)

The first one who found a person for every characteristic won some candy. After courses ended I ate dinner at the hostel. Since there were special circumstances while eating my dinner I'll allow myself to post this one pic.
